Officiating your mountain wedding

I was first invited to hold space in a wedding ceremony a couple of years ago. I can honestly say this is one of the most rewarding callings I could ever ask for, providing a container for a Ceremony of Love between two people who have the courage to declare it to the world.

My process is inspired by Nature. Since our local mountains play such a central role in all of my work, they also inspire how I approach each wedding ceremony. It is therefore not based on any religion or have any affiliation to such, nor is it related to any legally-informed procedures.

Our process starts with connecting with each couple to establish chemistry. I then consciously guide the bride and the groom into an inquiry, which creates a foundation for the ceremony speech on their wedding day. Each process is different and each speech is custom written for every couple, as opposed to using a generic script. We can incorporate any theme and symbolism into the ceremony, from handfasting, to tree planting, rose ceremony or unity candles.

On the day itself it feels as though I'm witnessing a wedding of two members of my family as opposed to two strangers. And it's something I hold very dearly, and have huge amounts of gratitude for.
