Compassionate Inquiry

1:1 personal work where psychotherapy meets ritual through somatic practices

  • 'Compassionate Inquiry' is an approach to psychotherapy developed by Dr. Gabor Maté.

Dr Maté is a leading expert in trauma and addiction and training directly with him has created a huge shift in my work. It provided a deeper understanding of our relationship with the body, nervous system regulation, an insight into how we hold ourselves, what we hold, the coping mechanisms that guard our behaviour to offer a compassionate route towards the root cause of deeply seeded trauma, struggles with addiction, compulsive behaviours and other mental disorders.

It's a pathway to a clearer understanding of ourselves, our behavioural patterns and associated restriction & numbness in the body.

This journey involves time dedicated to movement, somatic bodywork & self-inquiry.
